Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue crews were called to a severe fire at a derelict property in Lincoln overnight.

The blaze began at the detached building among a row of houses on Mill Road in Lincoln at around 7pm on Monday, March 28.

Residents in the area were told to keep doors and windows closed as four crews tackled the flames and plumes of smoke.

The road was closed off and the fire was extinguished after about an hour.

There have been no reports of any casualties.
