A post mortem examination has confirmed that there were no suspicious circumstances behind the death of an elderly man in Boston.

As previously reported, the body of a 74-year-old man was discovered in his home on Horncastle Road in Boston on Wednesday, March 30.

Officers investigating his death arrested a 60-year-old man in connection with the incident.

He has now been released without charge after a post mortem confirmed the death was a result of natural causes.
