Travel restrictions have been placed on one of Lincolnshire’s busiest roads following a bus fire.

As previously reported, the A158 between Hagworthingham and Winceby was closed after a double decker bus caught fire.

An inspection by Lincolnshire County Council’s highways department has revealed that the surface of a section of the road is too badly damaged to use.

Temporary two way traffic lights will be set up later this afternoon to allow traffic flow to resume.

They will be in place until the road is resurfaced next week.

Until this time the road will remain closed.
