Detectives investigating an armed taxi robbery in Grimsby have re-released a CCTV image of a man they wish to speak t in connection.

The robbery took place on Vivian Avenue, Grimsby at around 1.25am on Tuesday, July 19.

A 72-year-old Cleethorpes taxi driver had his dark blue Ford Mondeo, mobile and cash stolen by an armed man.

He suffered injuries to his neck and stomach and attended hospital for treatment.

The suspect is described as being of medium build, 5ft 8in tall, with short brown hair, a dark coloured coat and a local accent.

Anyone who can identify the man or has information about the incident are asked to call 101, quoting log number 32 of July 19.
