This story is over

A 35-year-old man from Lincolnshire has been jailed for four and a half years after he groomed and sexually exploited children over a two year period.

Martyn Coburn of Castle View in Walcott, south of Lincoln, appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Thursday, August 11.

He faced five charges relating to two children he had groomed and exploited over a number of months, between 2014 and 2016.

He was handed a custodial sentence for four and a half years, a lifetime sex offenders registration order and a lifetime sexual harm prevention order.

DC Wayne Pilkington, from the Child Sexual Exploitation Team, said: “This is a fantastic result for the victims.

“They have both shown great courage and this has given them closure to now move on with their lives.

“The investigation is also a great result for our Child Sexual Exploitation team, demonstrating that child sex offences will be dealt with robustly.”
