Here are just a few of Lincolnshire’s pets in need of a home:
Ebony
Ebony
Name: Ebony
Gender: Female
Age: Unknown
Location: Lincoln Cat Care
Hobby: Sitting on your lap
Ebony is still waiting for her forever home. This elderly girl came into care about four years ago, with health issues – which are now under control.
Her permanent fosterer recently emigrated so we are looking for a new family who can give her the care and attention that she loves.
She is an easy going little girl who loves company and will sit on any lap that’s free. She is not fond of other cats – they scare her a bit, so a home of her own would be good.
Lincoln Cat Care have said they will cover all costs, including vet bills and food.
Ruby came to Lincolnshire Rescue Kennels after her owner couldn’t keep her any more.
Ruby is described as very healthy and active for her age, she adores people and absolutely loves her walks .
Ruby’s tail is never still, she’s always happy and loves people. She is never far from your side and even smiles.
She has sadly had very little interest because of her age, which is after all only a number, and she has plenty of life in her and tons of love to give.
Warren and Susie came in to Lincoln Cat Care when only a few days old and were hand reared until old enough to manage their own food.
They had problems for a long time with upset tummies, back and forth to the vets, different food, antibiotics and nothing seemed to help.
However, their fosterer then decided to put them on to Persian biscuits and it worked a treat.
They have been ready for rehoming now for a while, and are beautiful fussy, friendly cats, 20 months old and will give a family much pleasure in their forever home.
JD came to Lincolnshire Rescue Kennels after his owner was unable to keep him.
He is described as a very affectionate dog, who’s favourite thing is to just cuddle with people. He also loves playing fetch and will return the toy time and time again.
He is a big dog but very gentle and affectionate.
JD gets scared when people shout but he knows quite a few commands and has no desire to chase anything.
Sadly JD has had little interest because he is “too big”.
His fosterers say he is getting stressed in kennels now as he has been with the charity and is desperate to get into a home environment.
