Railway engineering works to affect Bank Holiday trains through Lincolnshire

A number of railway engineering works will be taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend, affecting routes through Lincolnshire. A number of railway engineering works will be taking place over the Bank Holiday weekend, affecting routes through Lincolnshire.

According to a report released by East Midlands Trains, many of the routes from London will be affected due to these works.

Lincolnshire will also be affected as a number of journeys between Grantham and Nottingham and Skegness and Nottingham have further engineering works.

Nottingham – Grantham – Skegness

Alterations with trains between Nottingham and Grantham and Nottingham and Skegness have been highlighted with some trains ending their journeys at different stations.

Rail replacement buses have been put in place for these the remainder of these journeys.

This is ongoing work that began in July and it is expected that these alterations to journeys will take place until September 10.
