A third man has been arrested on suspicion of affray and racially aggravated criminal damage in Grimsby.

As previously reported, officers are investigating a racially aggravated incident which happened on Stanley Street in Grimsby on Tuesday, August 9.

Witnesses are still being sought following the incident at around 11.15pm, when it is alleged a group of men caused criminal damage and made racist comments and threats towards the occupants of a property.

Three men aged 33, 34 and 23 were arrested on suspicion of affray and causing racially aggravated criminal damage.

Officers leading the investigation are keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident.

Witnesses are asked to call 101, quoting log number 660 of August 9.
