A 63-year-old Newark motorcyclist has died following a crash with a car and another bike.

Two motorbikes and a Vauxhall Astra collided on Ingham Road in Stow at around 6pm on Wednesday, September 15.

One of the motorcyclists, from the Newark area, was airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham for treatment.

He was pronounced dead later that evening.

The car driver and the other motorcyclist were taken to Lincoln County Hospital.

This is the second fatal accident involving a motorcyclist in Lincolnshire in as many days.

As previously reported, a man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a teenager riding a scooter was killed in a crash on the A1 near Barrowby.
