Residents and commuters may face delays next month as the A52 at Ingoldmells is set to be resurfaced overnight.
The A52 Chapel Road at the seaside resort will be resurfaced between Anchor Lane and Queensway from Monday, October 3 to Friday, October 14.
Works will take place overnight, to minimise disruption to road users, from Monday to Thursday (7pm-6am).
During those times there will be a road closure between Anchor Lane and the entrance to Grange Caravan Park (200 metres north from Queensway).
Access to the caravan park will be provided at all times.
Diversion routes will be signed via the A52 Chapel Road (North), the Orby/Addlethorpe Bypass (West), A158 (East), A52 Roman Bank (North), Skegness Road (North) and vice versa.
Steve Brooks, senior project leader for major schemes at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “The road surface has reached the end of its working life and is in need of full resurfacing to ensure it remains in good condition for the future.
“Local access for residents and businesses within the works will be provided, but some disruption may be encountered and we’d appreciate the co-operation of public, while restrictions are in place.”

What do a festive turkey dinner, Christmas pudding and yule log have in common? None were picked by the people of Lincoln when we asked for their favourite festive food and drink!
There were festive nods to mince pies, cheese boards, and Brussels sprouts, as well as some rather different choices.
A 13-year-old from Lincoln has been ranked as the number one go-kart racer on the planet, as his quest to forge a path into the world of elite motorsport moves to the next level.
Lewis Wherrell, 13, received an award from motorsport’s primary governing body, the FIA, in Nice, France as he fought off competition from more than 1,400 racers and topped the sport’s ranking system for karting in 2023.
