A 12-year-old cyclist has been injured in a hit and run in Cleethorpes.

The incident happened on Tuesday, October 3 at 7.30am on Park View.

It has been reported that a vehicle, thought to be a black Nissan, collided with the young boy as it navigated around a corner.

The boy was knocked from his bike and injured his shoulder and knee as a result.

The motorist did not stop at the scene.

The 12-year-old received treatment at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby.

The driver of the black Nissan vehicle or anyone with information is asked to call Humberside Police on 101 quoting log number 276 of October 4.
