Police officers will be putting on extra patrols in the Mill Park area of North Hykeham following a rise in reports of anti-social behaviour.

Mobile CCTV will also be in operation in the area over the next fews days and nights in order to monitor the area.

Julie Clark, police PCSO for North Hykeham Town, issued an alert stating: “I would like to reassure the residents in the Mill Park area, North Hykeham, that we the Neighbourhood Policing Team are aware of the ASB which has been happening in this park, and that we are doing extra patrols in the area.

“There has been no criminal damage caused to the park, and it is youths hanging out in this park.

“This is where we prefer the youths to be rather than walking around the streets causing problems to people’s personal property etc.

“If you do happen to see anyone causing criminal damage or been abusive to anyone, please try and get a good description and phone 101 at the time.”
