Victorian Christmas Fair
When: November 26
Where: Gainsborough Old Hall
The Victorian Christmas Craft Fair is a chance to visit the beautiful medieval manor house in all its festive glory and get into the Christmas spirit.
Visit the magical Christmas Express, a steam hauled train with fully enclosed carriages and enjoy a return journey to Lapland Central.
Whilst waiting to see Santa in his grotto, tuck into seasonal refreshments in Mrs Claus’ Kitchen and enjoy entertainment and activities laid on for all.
Highlight attractions include: a roller disco, Santa experience, a “Mad Hatters Tea Party”, a chance to meet your heroes with St Andrew’s Hospice, fairground rides featuring indoor and outdoor activities and a variety of market traders offering festive treats.
The Reindeer Parade takes place after a display in the afternoon, starting at St Marks Shopping Centre making its way across the High Street, and finishing at Lincoln City Square.
Follow the parade or watch as it passes by and get your photo taken with the reindeer and Santa at the post-parade display on City Square.
The Lincolnshire Food and Gift Fair has two exhibition halls and a large marquee, and is the second largest annual event at the Lincolnshire Showground.
There will be more than 150 varied exhibitors, entertainment from live choir groups, and cookery demonstrations from top local chefs with tips on cooking a delicious festive feast.
The event will see a host of activities and entertainment for the whole family, including a reindeer parade, donkey rides, giveaways, street entertainment and a family lantern parade.
When: December 6, 13 and 20 or December 7, 14 and 21
Where: Wendyfull Cakes, Grantham
You will be able to learn many different aspects of cake design, over three nights, and create models including Rudolf and a sledge, melted snow, a chimney and Santa’s legs.
There will be a number of stalls and entertainment for all ages including: a Santa’s grotto, cakes, face painting and more… all in aid of Headway Lincolnshire.
