South Holland District Council has received proposals from applicants Allens Bridge Farm, Throckenholt, to build the farm on land to the north of Whale Drove.

This is a re-submission of a revised scheme following a previous application and appeal in 2015.

Previously, plans indicated that there would be a residential element to the farm.

However for this application, this has been removed.

If plans go ahead, a single building measuring 22.8 metres by 18 metres would be built on the site, which would initially house 120 breeding does as the basis of a new herd.

The proposal also incorporates a wormery, which will utilise the rabbit droppings to produce high quality fertiliser.

Councillors will consider whether to approve the application at a later date.
