A Bourne woman, 61, was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries following a crash on the A15 near Sleaford.

As previously reported, police were called to the crash between the Holdingham roundabout and the A153 roundabout at around 2.15pm on Wednesday, March 22.

The crash involved a Nissan Micra and a Kia Sorento towing a caravan.

The driver of the Micra was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham with serious injuries.

A couple from Leicestershire, who were in the Kia, were treated at Lincoln County hospital for more minor injuries.

The road was reopened at 7pm.

Any witnesses who have not already spoken to Lincolnshire Police are asked to call 101, quoting incident number 183 of March 22.
