Woman airlifted to hospital after serious crash between Spalding and Boston

A woman has been airlifted to hospital after being cut from a car following a crash near Spalding. The incident happened at around 12.15pm on Monday, May 15 on Boston Road, Gosberton. A woman has been airlifted to hospital after being cut from a car following a crash near Spalding.

The incident happened at around 12.15pm on Monday, May 15 on Boston Road, Gosberton.

Emergency services were called to the scene following reports that a Mini had crashed.

Doninton and Spalding fire crews attended and used hydraulic cutting gear to release the woman from the car.

The woman’s injuries are not thought to be too serious but she has been airlifted to Queen’s Medical Centre as a precaution.

Recovery is currently underway so the road should be reopen shortly.
