Firefighters have been called to Skegness as heavy rain overnight and into this morning has caused flash flooding in some areas.

Crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue are in attendance on Skegness Road, Roman Bank, Richmond Drive and Lancaster Avenue.

This comes after the Met Office issued a yellow weather warning for the possibility of heavy rain and flooding in Lincolnshire yesterday evening.

There have now been reports some homes in Skegness have flooded and public toilets on North Parade have been evacuated due to flooding.

Flooding has also occurred around The Richmond School in the town.
