The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, is set to visit Lincolnshire to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

Tuesday, July 11 marks the anniversary of the flight which will see Prince William meet veterans who flew and worked on the RAF aircraft at Coningsby.

Prince William is patron of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight.

A group photo is expected to be taken on the airfield of the Duke and the veterans.

Sixty years on from the flight, the aircraft are still flown and maintained across the country and are flown past for a number of events from state occasions to village fetes.
