Rail passengers are being warned that they will face disruption on the route between Lincoln and Retford due to industrial action this weekend.

Buses are replacing trains for a number of peak-time services as Northern Rail workers stage their latest walkout in a row over driver-only operated trains.

Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union will stage two 24-hour walk-outs on Saturday, July 8, Sunday, July 9 and Monday, July 10. Up to 60% of services could be cancelled as a result.
