A quirky new promotional video has been released by the University of Lincoln to entice students to the city.

The light-hearted cartoon video was uploaded on the university’s official Facebook page on July 4.

Showcasing a variety of fictional university courses such as witchcraft, sandwich inspection and sleeping in, the video also as ridicules the amount of swans in the city.

At the beginning of the video a student opens his A Level results before having a meltdown over getting a B meaning he can’t go to Oxford University and must go to the University of Lincoln instead.

Creator of the video ‘TomSka’ hit the headlines back in 2011 for releasing three ‘Banned University of Lincoln’ videos while studying at the university and has since gone on to gain 2.5million YouTube subscribers.

Tom’s videos quickly became viral and the university have since signed Tom up to create a different humorous promotional video each year.

Since the video was uploaded it has received over 19,000 views on Facebook.
