A section of the carriageway on Hawthorn Road, Cherry Willingham will be closed for road works.
The work is due to take place from Friday, August 21 to Tuesday, August, 25 between Croft Lane and Cherry Willingham.
The improvements will be carried out under a road closure with traffic diverted via Bunkers Hill, Wragby Road East and Kennel Lane.
Gatemen will be on hand to assist during the working day.
Mark Heaton, programme leader – surfacing and patching at Lincolnshire County Council, said: “We need to get this work done to ensure the road remains safe.
“We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and would encourage motorists to allow additional time for their journeys or find an alternative route.”
