Lincolnshire Police have said the grey Ford Ranger pick-up was stolen from a farm on Main Street at around 12.20pm on Tuesday, August 1.

The owner had been unloading his vehicle at the time, had turned his back and seen the vehicle leaving his year.

The vehicle keys, his dog and his mobile phone were in the truck at the time of the theft.

His dog was found nearby and was thankfully unharmed.

Officers discovered the stolen car abandoned between Kirkby on Bain and Coningsby village at around 1.20pm.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “If you think you can help with our enquiries or saw anything suspicious including the grey Ford Ranger being driven between 12:20 and 1:20 please contact us on 101 quoting incident 171 of August 1.

“Alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or on-line at crimestopers-uk.org.

“We would remind people to always remove their keys when they get out of their vehicles.”
