In pictures: Popular Spalding 1940s weekend draws in big crowd

Another great 1940s weekend in the county.

Hundreds of people visited Ayscoughfee Hall in Spalding to swing back in time and celebrate the 1940s.

The two-day weekend event ran from August 12 to 13 and offered a number of activities for people to get involved in.

A mixture of memorabilia displays, vintage vehicles and music was showcased at the hall over the weekend.

Flypasts from the Battle of Britain occurred on both days and there was a remembrance parade in the gardens where those who served our country were remembered.
