Junction of A1103 and A631 to be closed for resurfacing

Allow extra time for your journeys.

The junction of the A1103 and A631 near Market Rasen is to undergo resurfacing works, which are expected to take seven days.

Work will begin on Saturday, September 2 and will result in the affected section of the A1103 being closed.

The affected area of the A631 will be closed as well for the first one to four days of works, temporary traffic lights will then be put in place in the area for the remainder of the project.

Traffic will be directed to the A15 and A46 during the works.

Programme leader for the surfacing and patching, Mark Heaton said: “The carriageway has started to deteriorate along this route, so we need to resurface it so it remains safe to use.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and encourage motorists to allow additional time for their journeys and use an alternative route where possible.”
