The Swedish Historic Flight/Saab Silver Wings have been confirmed for Scampton Airshow 2017.
The rare Cold War aircraft will be taking part in the inaugural Scampton Airshow as part of the static display.
Visitors will be given the unique opportunity to walk amongst these aircraft as well as talk to the pilots and crews at the airshow on September 9-10.
The Swedish Air Force Historic Flight/Saab Silver Wings was formed under the name of the Västgöta Veteran Fly Association in 1997 and first flew with two Hawker Hunters.
The team now operates a wide variety of aircraft from its base in Satenäs, Sweden.
Visiting Scampton Airshow to join the static display line up will be:
- AJS 37 Viggen
- SK 35C Draken
- J32 Lansen
- J29 Tunnan
Paul Sall, Airshow Director said: “Having these incredible aircraft as part of the static display is just outstanding.
“Our ambition is still to have one or more of the aircraft feature in the flying display and we will continue with these efforts.”
