Two Lincolnshire Police officers to face misconduct hearings next week

The hearings will determine whether both breached the standards of professional behaviour.

Two Lincolnshire Police officers will face fast-tracked misconduct hearings at the force’s headquarters next week.

PC Rebecca Stevenson, currently based in Louth, and Special Sergeant Corey Alvey, currently based in Stamford, are due to appear at the hearings scheduled for 10am on Wednesday, August 30, and 11.30am on Thursday, August 31.

Stevenson is subject to the hearing after being pulled over for drink driving in Saltfleetby on July 2 this year.

Alvey is alleged to have pursued an inappropriate relationship with a member of the public.

The hearings will determine whether both breached the standards of professional behaviour set within Lincolnshire Police.

Identities of victims and witnesses will be protected during the hearing as appropriate, the force added.
