Brace yourselves! Up to 75mph winds to hit Lincoln

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning covering Lincoln and Lincolnshire which could see winds of up to 75 mph battering the area.

Between 8pm tomorrow (September 12) and 10am Wednesday,September 13, people are being warned about the possibility of strong winds.

Met Office forecasters have said people should expect very strong winds of 55 to 65mph, with some areas reaching 75mph.

Longer journey times on road, rail and air are expected and there is a chance of power cuts and damage to trees and buildings.
