New ITV game show looking for Lincolnshire’s worst singers

The hunt is on.

ITV bosses are on the hunt for Lincolnshire’s worst singers after commissioning a brand new game show called Change Your Tune.

In each episode, the show will challenge five terrible singers to improve their ability before being rated by a studio audience.

Each contestant will show just how bad their singing was before performing a track to show how much they have improved with the winner of each episode awarded a cash prize.

The six-part series will be hosted by Baz Ashmawy, best known for Sky One’s 50 Ways to Kill Your Mammy.

“I’m so excited to be looking for, not the very best singers in the country, but the very worst,” he said.

“This is a completely unique take on the singing show genre – it’s a feel good and celebratory show that’ll have everyone at home cheering on their favourite; it’s going to be great fun and I honestly, can’t wait to get started.”

Andrew Mackenzie, chief creative officer of the Twofour Group said; “Everyone would love to be able to sing and seeing the truly awful transformed into the truly awesome is an incredibly heart-warming and entertaining moment. We’re thrilled to be working with Siobhan Greene and her team at ITV on the series.”
