School gates have reopened after the summer break, and students in North Kesteven are coming back to find a fresh new look in the classroom.
North Kesteven School has now rebranded as North Kesteven Academy, and students returning this week have been welcomed with a new logo and bright new signage.
The school has a new motto – ‘Think excellence’ – and headteacher Neil Wilkinson-McKie hopes the changes will mark the start of a new successful era for NK Academy.
He said: “By giving our academy a new name and a new look we are looking to the future with renewed confidence.
“Our new identity better reflects the aspirations and ethos of the school and am certain it will inspire our young people as they journey through their academic career with us.”
The school’s new logo features a modern, graphic treatment of the letters N and K, replacing the green acorn logo which the school adopted several years ago.
Epix Media designed the new identity and brand application, from the logo, signage and prospectus to the new website and promotional videos.
Laura Nickson, Marketing Manager and Designer at Epix Media said: “A solid base of teal and silver underpins a bright colour palette to create a brand that portrays how proud staff and students are of their school and one that reflects the energy of all involved.”
