Emergency services called to A1 crash

Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene.

Emergency services were scrambled to a two-vehicle crash on the A1 near Lincolnshire.

The incident happened at around 5pm on Monday, October 16 at Balderton on the A1 northbound near Newark.

Nottinghamshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service attended the scene.

Injuries were not believed to be life-threatening, however at the time of writing it is unknown how serious injuries were.

This comes after two men died following a crash on the A1 less than one week ago.

The men were killed in the crash between a car and curtain sided heavy goods vehicle on the northbound carriageway shortly before 1am on Wednesday, October 11.
