It’s no secret that the housing market looks quite different today than it did a decade ago – but how have houses prices in your area changed?
Taking a look at BBC analysis of average housing prices in Lincoln from 2007 to July this year, The Lincolnite has brought together information to show you whether your house has increased or decreased in value over the last 10 years.
Data from more than eight million residential property transactions in England and Wales from the Land Registry database for the period from 2007 to July this year was collated by the BBC data team and the Open Data Institute (ODI) in Leeds. These exclude mortgaged buy-to-let properties.
According to the BBC, ‘the price of an average home in England and Wales has remained flat since 2007, after taking inflation into account’.
