Cheers! Lincoln beer seller to open pop-up bar this December

Find out where you can enjoy a secret tipple in Lincoln this December.

Lincoln beer and ale business the Crafty Bottle is set to open a cosy pop-up bar for limited evenings throughout December.

Opening every Saturday in December from 12pm to 9pm, the store on The Strait will allow up to 25 people upstairs access to tucked-away upstairs seating area to enjoy the store’s beers and ciders.

Owner Claire Brown hinted that if the pop-up bar does become a success, Crafty Bottle will look to make it a permanent fixture.

Speaking to The Lincolnite, Claire said: “We’ve got the beer shop and we wanted somewhere for people to sit and drink our products.

“There’s not a huge amount of places, but we wanted to bring a small cosy area for people to drink local ale.

“It will be a small living room-style pop-up bar that will allow people to purchase bottles from the shop and bring them upstairs.”

The shop has a temporary licence and last entry to the upstairs bar will be 8pm.

Crafty Bottle opened in February 2016 and is owned by Lincolnshire Brewing Company, who created the official beer for the Steampunk festival in August this year.
