Man, 52, in serious condition in hospital after possible assault

Police are investigating.

A man is in a serious condition in hospital with police investigating whether he was assaulted.

The 52-year-old man is being treated at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham after being rushed to hospital from an address on Granville Street.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: “It is believed that the man may have been subjected to an assault in the Carlton Road area of Boston during the evening of Monday, November 6.

“We are appealing for witnesses and information. Did you see a man or witness a disturbance in the Carlton Road area between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Monday?

“Please call us on 101 quoting incident number 230 of November 7 with any information you think might be relevant to the investigation.

“Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
