Tidal flooding is possible for properties along the River Trent later this week, with a flood alert in place.
The Environment Agency has issued the flood alert for around 7am and 7pm on Thursday, December 7.
Flooding is possible along River Trent close to the defences around Alkborough Flats, Keadby, Amcotts, Owston, Burringham, Gunness, Althorpe, East Butterwick and Flixborough.
Gunness Lane and Neap House Road could also be affected.
High water levels can be expected one hour before and after the peak of high tide.
An Environment Agency spokesperson said: “These particularly high tides are because of the naturally occurring astronomical tide cycle coinciding with a positive surge and large waves along the East Coast.
“People are advised to stay away from risk areas and to take care next to the river.
“We are closely monitoring the weather forecasts and river levels.”
