Inquest into death of Swineshead man killed after being hit by train

He died at the scene.

An inquest is to be held into the death of a Swineshead man hit by a train close to the village.

Pensioner Malcolm Rogers died after he was struck by the train near to Swineshead Station at just after 9.30pm on Sunday, June 18.

British Transport Police and other emergency services attended but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

An inquest into his death is being held at Boston Coroner’s Court on Wednesday, December 6.
