Police recover cannabis plants from Sleaford site

Raids took place in Sleaford yesterday.

A number of cannabis plants have been found in Sleaford following an investigation by Nottinghamshire Police.

Officers searched properties on Abbey Road, West Bridgford, Hollinwell Avenue, Wollaton, and Sleaford on December 14.

Around £500,000 of cannabis was recovered by Nottinghamshire Police and three men were arrested following these searches.

The Drug Support Team attended all three scenes and recovered the plants.

Vidmantas Spycius, 30, of Maplestead Avenue, Wilford, has been charged with production of cannabis and is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court later on December 15.

Two other men, aged 26 and 57, have been released under investigation.
