CCTV appeal: Man wanted in connection with purse theft from Louth supermarket

Police are investigating.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for help to find a man wanted in connection with a theft from Morrisons in Louth.

A woman was shopping in the store on Eastgate between 4pm and 4.30pm on December 30, leaving her handbag in her trolley.

When she arrived at the till, she noticed her purse was missing.

Her back then contacted her to inform her that her card was used to make seven contactless payments at McColl’s, also on Eastgate, shortly after her purse had been stolen.

A police spokesperson said: “We would like to trace the individual pictured to see if he can assists with our enquiries.”
