Gainsborough man admits attempting to supply heroin and crack cocaine

He will sentenced later this year.

A Gainsborough man will be sentenced later this year after he admitted possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply others.

Jaydon Ravel Wood pleaded guilty to four drugs offences when he appeared at Lincoln Crown Court on Monday, January 8.

Wood, 29, admitted four charges of possessing Class A drugs with intent to supply others.

The offences occurred on September 7 and December 7 last year, the court was told.

On both dates Wood admitted possessing heroin and crack cocaine with intent to supply others.

Daniel Bishop, prosecuting, told the court Wood had also pleaded guilty to a charge of drugs conspiracy at an earlier hearing.

Mr Bishop asked for the case to be transferred to Nottingham Crown Court where Wood is due to be sentenced for the drugs conspiracy matter later this year.

There was no bail application and Wood, of Trinity Street, Gainsborough, was remanded back in to custody by Recorder Gareth Evans QC.

The judge told Wood he would be sentenced at Nottingham Crown Court on a date to be fixed later this year.
