Man charged with robberies in Grimsby and Cleethorpes

He is due in court.

A 29-year-old has been man charged with two robberies and possessing imitation firearms following incidents in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.

Kye Green, of no fixed abode, has been charged in connection with incidents at a store off Broadway in Grimsby on Monday, January 8, and a takeaway on King’s Road in Cleethorpes on Friday, January 5.

He also faces three charges of possession of an imitation firearm, theft of a motor vehicle, and attempted robbery of a store on Weelsby Street in Grimsby on December 18.

Green is due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates’ Court.

A 22-year-old man arrested in connection with the robberies on January 5 and 8 has been released pending further investigation.
