Police appeal for key witnesses to Boston Christmas Day attack, with victim still seriously injured in hospital

A witness appeal.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for vital witnesses to a Christmas Day attack in Boston, which left a 29-year-old man seriously injured.

The victim remains in a serious condition at the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham following the incident in the Brothertoft Road and Sydney Street area of town which happened at 1.40am on December 25.

A total of 10 people have been arrested and released under investigation by police since the incident.

The force is trying to trace a number of key witnesses who may have seen what happened.

Police are looking for a white van believed to have been on Sydney Street at the time of the incident, and was seen to wait at the junction with Brothertoft Road and turn right towards Fenside Road roundabout.

A woman may also have filmed the incident on her mobile phone and was seen on Sydney Street.

She is described as white, in her early 20s, around 5ft tall, with long dark hair and wearing a gillet and bobble hat.

Officers are also appealing for a couple who were walking down Brothertoft Road towards Sleaford Road and may have asked someone to call the police.
