Woman attacked in early hours of morning in Louth

Police are appealing for witnesses.

A woman was assaulted in the early hours of the morning by a mystery attacker in Louth.

The attack at 1.45am on Saturday, January 6, happened as the woman was walking home along Monks Dyke Road, close to the junction with Priory Road.

The woman was pushed to the ground by someone who ran way in the direction of Church Street.

Lincolnshire Police have said that the victim was wearing a green Superdry jacket.

Anyone who witnessed the assault should call police on 101 quoting incident number 33 of January 6.
