‘A wonderful man’: Emotional family tribute to Gareth Bailey as murder trial continues

“He lived for his three children”

The family of 29-year-old Gareth Bailey, who was found dead in Ingoldmells in December, have released a heartfelt tribute to him.

Mr Bailey was found with serious injuries after police were called to a property in Chapman Court. He was pronounced dead shortly after.

A 39-year-old man was charged with his murder, but denied charges this week.

Gareth Bailey’s family said: “Gareth was a wonderful, go happy man. His heart was always in the right place, he was loved by everyone who knew him and lived everyday too its fullest.

“He lived for his three children”

“He lived for his three children, cherished his brother James, his beautiful sister Rachael and did anything for his mum and dad.

“We are going to miss you and love you very dearly, rest in peace son forever in our hearts.”

Steven Feeley, 39, of Eudo Road Skegness denied a charge of murder this week in relation to the incident on December 6.

The trial is due to begin on May 21 and Feeley has been remanded in custody.

A woman who was originally arrests has been released with no further action.
