Firefighters cut free casualty after crash near Boston

Serious crash near Boston.

Fire crews rescued a casualty from their car after a crash in Wrangle near Boston in the early hours of the morning.

The collision happened just after midnight on Monday, February 5 on Main Road in Wrangle.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue tweeted that three crews attended the scene.

They used hydraulic cutting gear to release one casualty.

Lincolnshire Police said in a social media post that the road was re-opened at around 2.45am and that injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The number of vehicles involved is unclear at the time of writing.
