The café and news shop at Lincoln Central railway station has been closed for a total refit.
East Midlands Trains is refurbishing the Caféxpress inside the station, which forms part of a £2 million investment to improve facilities in the building.
Some £2 million of investment will provide a new watiing room, toilets and baby change facilities, coffee shop, mircobrewery as well as restoring parts of the building itself, which is Grade II listed.
The shop has been completely emptied ahead of the refit and a temporary service will be in place from Monday, February 5.
A spokesperson for East Midlands Trains said: “We are improving our facilities at Lincoln Station – the café unit and news shop are being refurbished.
“Temporary facilities will be in place in the waiting room from February 5.”
