Police investigate alleged cash machine theft at Lincoln Tesco

Update, March 21: Lincolnshire Police, “We have identified the woman pictured. Thanks to all who supported the appeal.”

Police have issued a CCTV image after a woman allegedly stole another shopper’s money from a Lincoln Tesco cash machine.

A woman in her 60s was trying to use one of the cash machines outside Tesco on Wragby Road on the afternoon of Monday, March 12.

It didn’t appear to be working so she used another one.

Police said another woman then went to the first cash machine and they believed took £50 that was dispensed.

The victim challenged the woman who claimed the machine wasn’t working.

Investigating officers want to speak to the woman pictured to assist with the investigation.
