The Lincoln Dragon Boat Race will be back for a third year this summer to raise funds for charities.
The boat race, which is organised by local solicitors Ringrose Law, will take place on Saturday, July 21 on the Brayford Waterfront.
Last year’s event raised over £7,000 for three local charities with 16 teams competing and the 2018 spectacle should be even better.
Over 20 teams will compete at this year’s race, which will raise money for LIVES, St Barnabas Hospice and the Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

The Dragon Boat Race is an ancient Chinese tradition and is one of the fastest growing water activities in Britain.
Local teams competing this year include Delta-Simons Environmental Consultants Ltd, Lambert Smith Hampton, APSS, Belton Construction, Wright Vigar, Lovells Estate Agents, Duncan & Toplis and many more.
Marketing Manager for Ringrose Law Alex Bennett said: “Last year we had hundreds of spectators during the day, with charity stalls and refreshments along the Brayford Waterfront it really is a great day for families and a fantastic day for the City of Lincoln.
“So whether you are a willing spectator ready to cheer everyone on or a champion oarsman in the making – you need to be there.”
Head of Events at Lincoln BIG Michael Armstrong added: “The event continues to build from strength to strength every year, a credit to the team at Ringrose Law for bringing such a wonderful spectator event to the city.”

Bourne, Barton & District, Scunthorpe, and Boston Slodgers Veterans team all emerged victorious on a weekend which saw a high number of games involving Lincolnshire clubs postponed due to the adverse weather conditions.
In Counties 1 Midlands East (South), Sam Thornburn and Jon Levett both scored tries for Bourne in a dramatic 21-20 win at Vipers in Leicestershire.
