New arrivals win hearts at Lincoln Brayford

How cute!

Cute new Lincoln Brayford residents have been enjoying the peaceful sunshine today.

The gaggle of four newly hatched Canada goslings were a sweet sight as they grazed at the water’s edge beside mum and dad.

They were among the first summer 2018 babies to arrive at the university campus and careful onlookers watched on as they took their first dip in the pool.

Canada geese are native to Arctic and regions of North America and are commonly found in the UK. They’re very successful at living in urban areas but they have been known to be aggressive and territorial, so don’t get too close!
