Guy Martin’s tank was the star of the show at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life this weekend, where staff marked a site record of over 4,000 visitors.
The replica WWI tank, which was built as part of a Channel 4 documentary by the Lincolnshire daredevil, was at the Burton Road museum on May 5 and 6.
The exhibition was part of the wider RAF100 event Kings of the Sky, hosted by Lincoln Castle, which attracted between 4,000 to 4,500 visitors.
People in the castle grounds were able to see an array of impressive military machines, along with a full-size replica Spitfire and WWI bi-plane.
