Teen released under investigation after serious Mablethorpe assault

He’ll appear in court today for another offence.

A 17-year-old arrested in connection with a serious assault in Mablethope has been released under investigation.

He will however appear in court for breaching a Criminal Behavioural Order (CBO), said Lincolnshire Police.

As reported previously, a 40-year-old man was left in a serious condition after he was attacked outside Jesters Bar on Victoria Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning (June 19).

He sustained a head injury and was taken to hospital.

Officers cordoned off the area and began making extensive enquiries before arresting a 17-year-old male.

The force said on Thursday, June 21 that the teen has been released under investigation, but would appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on June 21 for breach of a CBO.
