Fatal Leasingham crash biker named

An inquest has now opened

The motorcyclist who died after a collision on the A15 Leasingham earlier this month has been named and an inquest opened on Thursday.

As previously reported, a man in his 50s from the Lincoln area was pronounced dead at the scene after a green Kawasaki motorcycle crashed with a silver Vauxhall Vectra on the village bypass on Thursday, July 5.

The man has been named as Peter Robert Howard.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Coroners Service said the inquest, which is being dealt with by coroner P Smith, opened on Thursday, July 19 and reports are being looked through before anything can be concluded.
